TBCC has an open admissions policy and welcomes students from all educational backgrounds. Programs are designed to promote equal access to educational opportunities and provide services that maximize student potential and development. Students under the age of 16 must see an academic advisor prior to enrolling. Appointments may be made by calling (503) 842-8222, ext. 1140.

Complete an admissions application
For the quickest way to apply for admissions,
log on to MyTBCC (located in the upper right corner of the screen
or click
here.
Click on the Admissions tab
Choose the
Credit/Degree Application or the
Non-Credit Application and complete the form online
2 Check Your Progress for your admission to TBCC on MyTBCC
Once you have submitted your Application for Admission online, you will be able to view which requirements
you need to complete, and when you are eligible to register in classes by logging on to MyTBCC.
To log on to MyTBCC you will need your student ID number and your password. These will be emailed to you. Your ID and password are also available from Student Services.

Students taking credit courses or seeking a degree, continue through the follwing steps:
3 Attend a new Student Orientation
If you are unable to attend a New Student Orientation in person, you may complete an online version
by clicking the link in the list to the right.
The verification form must be printed and returned to Student Services if you do the online orientation.

Assess Your Skills
Use the COMPASS placement test, another college placement assessment,
or a previous college transcript.
COMPASS placement assessments are available in the TBCC Library. Library hours vary. You may contact the Library
at 503-842-8222, ext. 1720. Students will need their Social Security number and a photo ID for the testing session.

Ready to Register
Register online at
MyTBCC, login and click Course Schedule, or complete and submit a registration form to Student Services.
To pay for classes, take your schedule and bill to the Bookstore/Cashier. You may pay with check, cash, Visa, Mastercard, or Discover. If you will be paying with financial aid, scholarship or agency billing, make sure that all arrangements have been made prior to class start date.
