Annual Security Report

In 1998, the Federal Government passed the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics act, formerly the Student Right to Know Act of 1990. This law requires that universities and colleges receiving federal funding disclose reported instances of criminal activities on campuses. In addition to the disclosure of campus crime statistics the act requires timely warnings of criminal activity to the campus community as well as the disclosure of various campus policies. ART 204 History of Western Art I (Master’s degree in Art or closely related field)

Tues. /Thurs. 10:00 am – 11:50 am

Description: Examines visual art and architecture as a reflection of human interaction with the socio-political and physical environment of a particular era. Objectives center on viewing, analyzing, and comparing many art forms in a historical context, and covers the Paleolithic, Ancient Near Eastern, and Aegean cultures, beginning about 30,000 BCE.

SOC 206 Social Problems (Master’s degree in Sociology or closely related field)

Tues. /Thurs. 5:00 pm to 6:50 pm


Applies the sociological perspective to the study of social problems, including their identification, analyses of causes and consequences, and consideration of possible solutions. Explores topics such as inequality, poverty, crime and delinquency, substance abuse, discrimination, domestic violence, the environment, global stratification, and international conflict.

SOIL 205 Soil Sciences

M/W 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Description: Introduction to the chemical, physical and biological nature of soils. Examines the functions of soil as a medium of plant growth, a recycling system for neutrinos and wastes, a modifier of atmospheric chemistry, a habitat for soil organisms, a system for water purification, and an engineering medium.

Spanish GED classes

Spanish bilingual instructor needed for GED completion and adult basic skill classes. Classes are conducted in Spanish and focus on the development of skills in reading, writing, and mathematics.
