Annual Security Report

In 1998, the Federal Government passed the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics act, formerly the Student Right to Know Act of 1990. This law requires that universities and colleges receiving federal funding disclose reported instances of criminal activities on campuses. In addition to the disclosure of campus crime statistics the act requires timely warnings of criminal activity to the campus community as well as the disclosure of various campus policies. CJA 244 – Tactical Communications in Crisis Incidents

Focuses on police intervention in the lives of people in the midst of an emotional or physical crisis in the manner designed to minimize or prevent violence while gaining control of the situation. Emphasized are verbal and non-verbal communication techniques and skills utilized to calm the client and gain compliance helping to lead to a successful and safe resolution.

EMS 105 – EMT Part 1

Applicants shall have current EMT certifications and be available to teach evenings.

Ag/Natural Resources 

FOR 241 - Dendrology

Instruction will cover the identification of principal forest trees of North America, and the principal trees and shrubs of the Pacific Northwest, including the ranges over which they grow, important ecological regions of the world, and the structure and function of the forest plants.

FST 252 - Wine Lab

The lab work will cover the production of grape wines according to vinification protocols.  Includes grape handling and vinification practices as well as chemical and sensorial grape must and wine analysis.

ABE/GED and Community Ed.

ABE/GED Instructor

Instruction for students; in math, reading, writing, social studies, and science skills, in preparation for the GED examination.

Spanish GED Instructor

Instruction for students; in math, reading, writing, social studies, and science skills, in preparation for the GED examination.  
Spanish fluency required.

Driver Education Instructor

Provides Drivers education for High School Students and Adult Driver Education. Instruction includes 30 hours of classroom and 12 hours of in-car instruction.
Position requires ODOT Drivers Education Certification training provided by the College.
