| The Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) accepted TBCC's Application for Candidacy in summer of 2006. The College prepared a Self Study Report (2008) and hosted a site visit for initial candidacy in October 2008. In January 2009 NWCCU recognized TBCC as a Candidate for Accreditation. The College hosted a site visit for interim evaluation for candidacy in May 2010. On the basis of that visit, candidacy for TBCC was continued by NWCCU. Tillamook Bay hosted a second site visit for interim evaluation for candidacy in October 2011. The College is currently at work addressing concerns and recommendations from that visit. Tillamook Bay is anticipating a final visit for initial accreditation in fall 2013. | |
