National Standards, Local Expertise
Located at the Clatsop Community College (CCC) and Tillamook County General Hospital (TCGH), TBCC's Nursing program is a developed partnership with CCC, TBCC and TCGH to provide training for skilled nurses in Tillamook County. This degree is granted by Clatsop Community College and Tillamook Bay community College offers program prerequisites, general education, and nursing-related coursework. All Nursing (NUR) courses are offered by Clatsop Community College.
The program is accredited by the Oregon State Board of Nursing and The National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission. In our program, you will learn the knowledge and skills required for an entry-level nursing job, and qualify to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses, which is a requirement for practice. Our program is designed to prepare the student to be licensed as a registered nurse (RN). RNs deliver nursing care in a variety of healthcare settings.
