Gold Bean Gourmet Hummus -- A Tasty New Opus for Retired Tillamook Music Teacher Hummus with“over the top flavors, all natural and no added fats or oils.” That was the goal when former Tillamook music teacher John Coughlin opened Gold Bean Gourmet Hummus in the spring of 2012. John uses black beans, white beans, peas and other legumes in his varieties which include his four top selling flavors-- Roasted Red Pepper, Avocado, Cilantro, & Lime, Spinach Artichoke, and Ancho Black Bean. After a successful season at the Tillamook and Manzanita Farmer’s Markets, John is ready to expand. John says he is particularly grateful to the Tillamook Small Business Development Center and his counselor Sally Tuttle “for all the help they gave me to develop the product”.
