Gainful Employment

In order to be eligible for funding under the Title IV programs, an educational program must lead to a degree (associate, bachelor's, graduate, or professional) or prepare students for "gainful employment in a recognized occupation."  The Federal Government requires TBCC to disclose information related to TBCC's certificate programs that are not part of an associate degree program and lead to gainful employment in a recognized occupation.  Information includes Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) codes, graduation rates, tuition and fees, typical costs for books and supplies, job placement rates for students completing the programs, and median loan debt incurred by students completing the programs.
