Textbooks adopted for class use will not normally be purchased for the collection, as the library's collections are not designed to supply students with required material for specific classes.

Textbooks that are part of the library's collection follow these usage guidelines:

• Textbooks do not leave the library the first two weeks of the term.  At the start of the third week, textbooks checkout as standard non-fiction items (14 days).
• High use textbooks (located behind the desk) never checkout.
• Limit use of High use textbooks to two hours if others are waiting.
• Copyright law fully applies to the use of library textbooks.

Instructors wishing to reserve textbooks are responsible for obtaining them. The library will not routinely purchase consumable materials such as workbooks or tests.

The Tillamook Bay Community College Library is located upstairs at the Central Campus. The Learning Center is located inside the Library.
