Academic Advising

Advisors provide information about degree and certificate requirements, financial aid, transfer strategies and college support services. During your initial appointment with an advisor, you can ask any questions regarding the TBCC admissions process. Your advisor will also help you complete the registration worksheet and answer other questions about enrollment at TBCC.

Student Services at TBCC provides academic advising services to all students and will explain educational programs and help students select courses appropriate to their individual needs and goals.

For students who plan to transfer to a four-year college or earn an Associate Degree, it is very important to see an academic advisor on a regular basis.

For further information, contact the Advising Office at (503) 842-8222
ext. 1140 or email at manning@tillamookbay.cc

Planning on transferring to a university to complete your Bachelor's Degree? Take a look at PCC's University Transfer Website. More and more students are discovering the best place to begin a bachelor's degree is at a community college. Since the courses required in the first two years of a four-year degree are general education courses that you can take at any school, why not start close to home and at a fraction of the cost? Nearly 60% of Oregon freshmen are enrolled at community colleges.     PCC University-Transfer

Student Organizations

The Associated Students of Tillamook Bay Community College
The ASTBCC operates under a constitution designed to promote student activities that stimulate the social, physical, moral, and intellectual growth of students.  It is organized to benefit the students, the college, and the community, and to provide opportunity for student input. All credit and non-credit students currently enrolled at TBCC are members of ASTBCC.  Watch the bulletin board in the Student Lounge and bulletin boards around campus for flyers announcing activities and leadership opportunities.  For more information contact the ASTBCC executive council at astbcc@tillamookbay.cc or the ASTBCC advisor (842-8222 ext. 1875).

Phi Theta Kappa
