Tillamook Bay Community College is committed to providing instruction and services
that provide students with the opportunity for self-improvement as well as skills
needed for success in employment, community, and TBCC transfer level classes.
Skills Development offers classes in reading, writing, math, and English to help
students meet their personal, academic, and employment goals.
Reading, mathematics, and computer skills are essential to entering, retaining,
and advancing in many jobs throughout the labor force. As technological and economic
changes continue, individuals whose literacy skills had previously been adequate
may suddenly find themselves lacking sufficient basic skills, a situation that
limits their opportunities for jobs or career advancement.

GED Preparation, English for Speakers of Other Languages, Adult High School
Diploma, High School Credit Recovery, and Adult Literacy Program.
