Strategic Planning at TBCC
Strategic planning processes continue to evolve at TBCC. Strategic planning activities began in 2003-2004. A Self-Study Report (2004) evaluated TBCC's achievements in meeting NWCCU accreditation standards and made recommendations for improvements. The accreditation standards and elements served as benchmarks for strategic planning. The Strategic Plan 2005-2010 contained plans to meet benchmarks as well as plans for ongoing institutional planning, including an annual Institutional Effectiveness Report. TBCC produced a Self Study Report 2008 for its initial accreditation visit for candidacy. After receiving status as a candidate for accreditation in January 2009, TBCC began work on a Strategic Plan 2010-2015. The current plan is based on input from internal and external findings and positions TBCC to synchronize strategic planning activities with accreditation activities. The Institutional Effectiveness Report has been replaced by an Institutional Goals and Core Themes Indicators Report.
